The Coast (Poberezh'e) is an annual Russian literary almanac, the Sixteenth
edition of which has been recently published. It features prominent poets,
writers and artists from the former
The Coast (Poberezh'e) contains sections of Poetry, Prose, Literary Critique, Culture, Biographical Portraits, Translations, and Fine Arts, as well as biographical data of each participating author.
The goal of the almanac is not only to present authors who are already well-known in the literary circles, but also to introduce many new talented individuals.
The almanac presents different styles of literature: classic as well as modern. Some of the publications may be experimental in style, but all of them are well-crafted and continue the best traditions of Russian literature and poetry.
